That's true. It was even better the first time I played... I was pretty much awestruck. I would have never imagined Mario steeping outside of his well formulated world and into the realm of Square. It was just such a shocker back then, and it actually turned out great.
I will have to disagree that it only deserves a 7 out of 10 now though. I will still have to say at least an 8.5 IMO.
