Nintendo buying MS.. haha. Actually, I could almost see Sony buying Nintendo and marketing the Nintendo as the "casual" brand complementary to the Playstation "hardcore" brand. Microsoft could also do it, but I see it being less likely due to Microsoft being an American company, and just that I really don't want to see it happen.

Then again, Microsoft is quite possibly moving towards its second failure trying to enter the console market. They may just decide it's easier to just buy out a company who knows what they're doing, than to keep trying to compete (it wouldn't be the first time - if they don't, it would actually be one of the few times they didn't)

Anyway, as to the actual topic of this thread, it depends on what you mean by "Win". I could easily see the Wii not "winning" if you determine "winning" as a combination of actual console install base and attach rate (this is definitely how Nintendo, and even moreso Sony and Microsoft look at it - money). Casuals don't buy as many games.

As far as "winning" being just install base, I can't really see the Wii not "winning." By the time the PS3 and 360 get below $200, the Wii will be so cheap that anyone who plays games will probably be able to justify purchasing the system just to play a single game. This, however, also doesn't help attach rates.
