Part of the problem is that games like Madworld and Conduit are not the reason why most people are buying the Wii.
Now this could be seen as a little Blue Ocean strategy on the part of Sega and High Voltage within the Wii market, but this doesn't encompass the entire gaming market since not everyone who plays video games owns, or is just going to buy a Wii by default.
If both games were developed for the PS3/360, I would practically guarantee they'd be lost in the shuffle and I'm pretty sure their developers are keenly aware of this.
Not that it matters, but I'm having second thoughts about Madworld since current reports have this game looking like glorified bloody violence for the sake of violence, with no purpose.
Much like Manhunt 2, which sold *phenomenally* even with all the press and uproar over the controversy.
If Madworld doesn't have excellent gameplay, I see no reason to buy it. It's a shame too since I was seriously looking forward to this initially before it just started looking like a bloodbath game with no substance.
