Yes, it is overrated. It is, nevertheless, fun, creative and a good idea all-together. I can't count how many people I heard going "Final Fantasy and Disney? They're kidding right? This is going to suck." who then loved the game once they actually tried it. Kingdom Hearts is overrated, but not as overrated as many other series in gaming.
