I've noticed a few people across the net bitchin' about the 10 hour single-player. I don't know why there's suddenly a demand for JRPG length single-player modes in an FPS, but it's never been a problem oddly enough until now. Halo 3's single-player is about the same length, but no one bitched about that. Very strange...
Goldeneye 007 and Perfect Dark both could be finished in a few hours on the easy difficulty setting. Most of the game time in single-player came from retrying levels on higher difficulty settings. I don't know that The Conduit will be any different. Online multiplayer is where the bulk of the game will be played anyways.
