| Kyros said: The PC has a feature called downloading HD movies. Yes thats a cool feature. Especially when you watch the movies you have downloaded on the PC with your PS3 (by streaming or external HD). Directly from the couch on your 32" LCD TV with perfect remote support, upscaling and noise reduction, HDMI, etc. pp. Yes you can do all these things with your PC but its a huge pain in the ass (TM). (For example even with direct VGA cable connection I was never able to get rid of a white line at the bottom of the screen) If you want to do it right you need the expensive Windows Media Center Edition or Myth TV. Oh and some of us have problems downloading HD movies of 15Gb++. Discs have still some advantages. |
On the upside, if his monitor supports up to 1920x1200 that would be equivalent to a 1200p HD not some poor 1080 like your crappy 32'. His game will look better, sharper and more realistic.
Also to be fair, if you are comparing the PC screen and display against your TV's then you are gonna need to add the cost of your 32' to your console. I find TV's way overpriced with less functionality than a PC monitor.
