N64 wasnt a failure to me - loved the games. Played KI, Golden Eye and Mario Kart for ages with my friends. But still had to get a PS1 for FF and MGS. That didnt happen during SNES times. So that part I didnt like.
NGC I was honestly not interested in anymore. Just picked one up last year cause it was cheap and I wanted to play Mario Kart. Didnt get into the game much. So overall, not that big of a success. Also, no new Nintendo IPs that caught my interest.
