Stan85 said: I never accused you of bashing the PS3, i only pointed out that the PS3 had nothing to do with this topic. Fair enough, I do realize that I may have been too agressive and I take anything offensive back. As far as talking about new and old, I'm talking about new. All I'm saying is that we cannot go by hardware specs alone to determine whether or not there will be any unexpected hardware failures. If i claimed that Sony would never have lens issues ever again after the PS1 because "they would have learned by now", that would be pretty irresponsible of me wouldn't it? I know that some 360 cannot be fixed because I had friends that recieved new 360s in exchange for their dead ones. Believe me, if Microsoft can fix a console instead of send the costumer another one, they would. About the memory failure,it`s very rare and it`s on the old models, what`s the deal with my "personal experience" ? You want me to fix 360 when my friend has been doing that from the start? I don`t think so,i provide informations. We are talking about old models and new ones, don`t you think it`s confusing? This memory failure is not the only cause that can result in the RROD. What's so hard to understand? Many things can contribute to a dead 360, and sometimes issues arise from internal redesigns. Did the PS2 not have any problems when the slimline revision was released?
You should have said that from the start, instead of claiming that there's no more RROD. |
