Asking people not to say 'fanboy' is like addressing the symptom but not the cause. This site is about discussing competition between manufacturers and it does attract people who show brand loyalty. The fact is, there are people who play on that and post with the intention of stirring up a hornet's nest.

 

 Calling people fanboys does no good. Post why they are making the wrong conclusion, and most of them will stop, as they can't attack those arguments. If they can, then they start an interesting discussion. If they don't stop, they will get banned within a few days.

You don't beat the problem by joining it.
