Having bought my Wii and several games I became interested in just how many games are available (or coming soon).
So being slightly obsessive compulsive I checked a few internet sites and created a spreadsheet of every title I could find that had some decent information about it (screenshots, coverart, press release etc).
Sites referenced were: Chartz.com, Amazon.com, EBgames.com, wikipedia among others.
So, how many titles did I find? 377 with about 75 actually released. There maybe a few duplicates i.e. Japanese titles vs English titles and there will be some that will not be released or turn out to be rumours. I figure that if only 75% of these see a final release that is still 280 odd titles available or in development. I hope the stores that stock the Wii are preparing to put in more shelving!
