I think the RROD problem is to blame for the 360 not having the sales it deserves. In my opinion is likely caused Microsoft to have to put off at least one price drop because of the costs of honoring warranties on their older systems. It also caused severe damage to the console's reputation that has likely cost it sales in the millions as well.

With that being said I feel that the PS3 doesn't deserve its sales because all of its mistakes were made on purpose months/years before the system was released. The RROD on the other hand I can only assume Microsoft wasn't aware of the problem or at the very least not of the problem's size.
