Would a FFVII remake overshadow FFXIII exclusivity loss?

Why all think FFVII HD will be the ultimate game? A remake almost never sold as much as the original, a example is the Pokemon Red/Blue/Green on GBA, it sold 2/3 less than the originals and Pokemon Red/Blue/green was a game at least 3 times more important than FFVII.

 

 

Yeap, a FFVII HD remake wouldn't sell nearly as much as the original. The popularity would overshadow FFXIII though. The OP only cares that it overshadows FFXIII because of it's exclusivity to Sony. This a biased post.

Ok, then my opinion is not, a remake never overshadow a new main game in the same franchise.
