Yep. I'm fairly certain of it.
I see MKWii becomming the best selling console game in PAL ever (8.64M), and perhaps comming close to 10M in a few years - for beating Nintendogs as best selling ever, it has no change though.

So 9-10M for PAL


It already has 1.65M in Japan, and should end at 2.5M or something, perhaps slightly less. 2-3M lifetime.

In Americas, it has sold 2.8M. I see it ending in the 5.5-6.5M range when all is said and done.


So overall, I see it like this:

Area / Low end / High end

PAL / 9M / 10M
Japan / 2M / 3M
Americas / 5.5M / 6.5M
Worldwide / 17M / 20M


So to answer the OP - yes, I see it beating GT3 with ease, as a matter of fact - it could beat every Ps2 game.

It could become the best selling 3D, non sim, game ever.
