I thought it didn't matter if you shot their head or not for that. Either way, I still did it sometimes. Usually tried to go with the shoot, kick, knife technique for small groups.

yeah I thought the same thing until I got killed by a decapitated gerrado... The damn thing attacked me TWICE while I was concentrating on other targets...
