That seems to be the mantra of this era: cutting edge graphics and 1990s game play.
With Wii is less susceptible to this (motion control, obviously) but definitely not immune, either.
I can't wait to see what the next generation brings. With a little luck it'll be another creative spurt like the late 90s. I don't see graphics being a factor.
