Either way, I agree with BFJ in saying 50% is not going to happen in 2008 just based upon the production numbers alone, even assuming 100% sell through for the Wii.

Also, I don't think I've heard any Wii fan say that 50% is the magical number that third parties will start developing only for the Wii. It's just a big slap in the face to the ps3 and xbox360, and quite a feat for the system that was supposed to ruin Nintendo. =)

Virtually all multi-platform games are originally coded and compiled on PCs. Platform specific coding is written afterwords.
