MKWii is selling quite predictably, but even so, it must still be selling well above Nintendo's expectations. The game's been out for months and I still have yet to see a single copy at retail. Not sure if that's incredibly impressive, or an incredible miss for Nintendo for not being able to satisfy demand for this long.

Wii Fit has been a success from the standpoint that they are selling faster than production is capable of keeping up with, but it has unquestionably sold under the expectations of virtually everyone who was bullish on the game earlier this year before the NA release. In all fairness, most of those expectations were completely unrealistic. Sales by year's end should be interesting since it continues to sell out and Nintendo should have ample supply for the holiday season.

Haze has hit well below expectation both critically and commercially. Easily this year's Lair for the PS3. Overhyped and underperformed about sums it up.

Alone in the Dark wins the prize for the biggest multi-platform miss. A long standing franchise has officially been killed.

LBP has the potential to be the season's biggest hit for the PS3, or it may well end up being the biggest hyped title to see mediocre (respectable, but below expectation) sales.

Wii Music has the potential to be Nintendo's first Wii series miss. It will still sell respectably, barring any commercial disaster due to public unwillingness to buy a somewhat muddled implementation of what initially seemed like a great concept, but it will not see the runaway success level of the previous Wii series games.
