Actually I don't know if it will reach 50% by year's end, this is due because although Christmas is going to be huge for Wii, when it's sold out people wanting to buy console for their kids will turn to the other 2 consoles.
I'm just saying that if Nintendo doesn't produce a lot of Wiis for Christmas then it's not going to reach 50% of the market share, if they are able to cover demand for the season then I think it's same to say it will reach 50% of the market share...
