I was at a Rogers video the other day and they had no PS3 units, is that proof?  But they had 3 wii's and Mario kart.

 That isn't even hard evidence let alone proof. Anecdotal evidence cannot be used to prove anything. Note that on ebay I can still get more for my Wii than what I payed for it while the PS3 is still going for less than retail price. This suggests the PS3 is available and the Wii is not.

That only suggests that people are stupid when it comes to buying a wii.  Maybe people should stop going to BestBuy or TRU at the end of the week and show up at the start when the new shipments arrive.  Or go to other stores which seem to have wii's in stock for a much longer time period.  HMV, Blockbuster and Rogers video, all seem to have wii's in stock whenever i go to them.
