Terrible. Obviously marginalization by a PS3 owner.
Confident you've never owned a 360.
I've never in my life owned a console that I enjoyed so much, yet so many people consistantly tried to marginalize its greatness. It's like if there was a pro-Genesis forum during the SNES era, this would be it.
Sure RRoD sucks. However, if you judge the console strictly on quality level of library, premise of game-related functionality, game selection, and enjoyment added to the games from the console itself, it's a fantastic console, and I can't find anyway around that conclusion. Of course, those things are completely unrelated to price, non-game related functionality, and dependability.
However the issue is that Sony fanboys, instead of arguing their strengths(Value, Non-game functionality, dependability) try to argue that their console is also significantly ahead in library quantity and game-related functionality. Yet, the console has significantly a significantly smaller quantity of what I consider relevant games(imo), relative poor implimented and non-requesite(to developers) achievements, no cross game voice chat, and no console-based custom soundtracks(which are as we all know, awesome). Now, these features will be added and the Ps3 will get some more great exclusive and multiplat games really soon(on top of an already good library of titles), but arguing for something that will one day occour, is counting your chickens before they hatch.
The PS3 is significantly better than the 360 in a number of areas, but the 360 is better than the PS3 in a few, as well. Arguing for the PS3 can be done really successfully...or you can end up sounding like a fanboy. Know your strengths.
I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.
NO NO, NO NO NO.
