I doubt China will recognize the independence of Abkhazia and South Ossetia due to many factors, not least their own troubles with Tibet and Xinjang, unless the rest of the world were to change their minds about such recognition. But it hardly matters anyway since I believe Russia will move to annex the two regions if not made to pay for its aggression.
