The difference between Fable 1 and 2 is that the first time around it was Peter Molyneaux who was promising stuff that didn't end up in the game. This time he has kept relatively quiet, and only talked about features he could demonstrate. This time around the majority of the hype is coming from people outside of Lionhead. The chance is still there for the hype bubble to burst, but it's extremely unlikely in this case
Fable 2 is going to be huge.
