Can't wait to play this though, I will admit to never playing a Tales game before, and even though the demo didn't turn me on at all (lack of good documentation made combat confusing) all previews and now reviews have me honestly excited to try this out.

 

Yeah, a lot of people just say whatever they can to try and flame other people's enjoyment, and promote their own fanboy agenda. Didn't think we'd have any on this post, but I just think that guy probably hadn't read the OP, or any post up to that point. Trolls usually don't read the topic past the title. They don't need to, in order to accomplish their goals.

Anyway, enough of that unpleasantness. I ordered the game myself, and it should be in, after a few days. I'm already gonna tell you, off hype alone, and after reading the IGN and Gamespot reviews, I am gonna love the game no matter what, lol. If somehow it sucked, I'd still love it at this point. I am officially hyped.

Whenever Gametrailers puts their review up, I'll probably stop updating the OP. It'd get to long if I just keep going, and everyone can check out metacritic.

 

I think this post did a great job at what it was supposed to do. Get the word out fast to interested members on the pros and cons of the game, while building hype about the game for those excited about it, and preventing the focus from moving away from the game, into fanboy wars, and attempting to marginalize and rub in faux dissapointment, like these topics usually turn into.

I think the great reviews helped out a lot, but also the community helped. The PS3 fans, mostly, and all the Wii fans were really cool about letting this topic go down as a hype and discussion thread about the game, without marginalizing or flaming.

I certainly do appreciate several members who posted very intelligent and intersting posts on this thread, who ordinarily would take the side of Sony. I have gained respect for many posters on this topic.
