Retro Studios or Factor 5?

Hey, Hey, Hey! Metroid Prime was superb. If anyone can bring back Yokoi's franchises, it should be them. Also Lair was abysmal.

 

Of course the MP franshise is fantasic, I wasn't alluding otherwise. I was merly suggesting that Nintendo needs some new IP and Retro is the perfect Nintendo studio for that. They understand the core market, they already have 3 IP's unfinished from their GC days and they've expressed interst in working on something new.

Nintendo needs a new IP far more than they need a Kid Icarus revision.

 

Factor 5 has blamed Sony for almost all that was wrong with Lair. Sony's TRC for Lair tied Factor 5's hands pretty tightly. I know they are a much better studio than Lair suggests.

Truth be told, I just don't want a Kid Icarus with a heavy emphasis on flying.  I liked the first Kid Icarus because of it's several gameplay styles.  Though they're not limited to it, Factor 5 seems prominent in making games with flying as the focus.
