Yes, the "you have a wall post" messages are annoying.
Especially for people's walls as popular as mine, getting ten messages in a day about new wall posts is annoying. And pichu_pichu must be in message hell. 7k wall posts means 7k messages. God.
Also, being able to flag threads would be cool, as would when someone replies or quotes you, getting a message about that.
