Your full of shit! I am from Australia and the PS3 is kicking it's ass there. It's even beating the Wii! It seems to be beating the 360 in all countries more months then not since Oct 07, even the U.S and that's what the OP ment.
Also, yes, if the PS3 has no new big exclusives comming, then your kinder right by saying it will take till 2010 to over take the 360 at this rate of sales. But, all it needs is more big hits like MGS4 to see massive spikes. After all, people buy consoles for certain games, a~la LBP, R2, White Knight Chronicals, Heavy Rain, Kz2, GT5, GoW3 etc, etc.
What most don't seem to see is that the PS3 has, until recently, been lacking the big exclusives. The PS3 has nearly reached 2 years. All PS platforms have had a huge influx of games from this age on. So many big games are comming to the PS3 and all within 1 year. The 360 is yet to see a strong PS3 like this.
