"What's your point? Nintendo made the best games if we go by your logic. You failed pretty hard, it hurted me."

Oh well. Maybe I'm not very logical. I do use more than one source of information to form my opinions though so that could be where the confusion arises. See, there were several PS2 games that were much better than Metroid Prime according to IGN. And According to IGN The Ocarina of Time is no better than MGS 4 and GTA IV, and I find myself agreeing with that more than I do the idea that Ocarina is the best game of all time. However, if you take Dave Halverson's statement in Play's recent Report on the 7th gen that Wii Sports is the most overrated game of this console generation, combine that with IGN's review of the game that said its only a 7.6 and its Metacritic score of 76, and you find yourself not wanting to play the game all that much. However, if you look at IGN's rating for Heavenly Sword a 7.0, then go look at Dave Halverson's review of the game in Play where he gave it a 10 and explained very succintly why people that are more in the mainstream were judging it unfairly, decide to buy the game, play it, and see that it is pretty good, and then see that its Metacritic score has become more respectable over the last year or so, then you'll think that yes the game wound up being much better than one source said it was.

Although you haven't replied to me yet, I am going to have to give up on you because you are spewing bullshit... now suddenly you are "forming opinions from more than 1 source" which means you are picking and choosing whichever source you like best.

I am pretty sure looking at IGN I could find a PS3 game you like rated lower than a Wii game you decided you won't like... from which you will either turn back to metacritic if that agrees with you, or else find another source of information.

And it seems the majority of people don't agree with you or Dave Halverson about Wii Sports... it happens to be one of the most played games of a Wii owner... with an average of around 30-35 hours time spent on it per owner.... which is generally 2nd, 3rd or 4th of all Wii games (depending on the country) and usually close to Fire Emblem.
An average of 30-35 hours per peson is a hell of a lot, considering that the average amount of time people (normal users not us "avid gamers") spend on a game is likely around 9-10 hours.
