Some quick thoughts:
- A 'System-Seller' can be defined as a game that has either :

    * a significative positive short-term impact (a visible spike) on hardware (like Tales of Vesperia or Metal Gear Solid 4 in Japan),

    * or a long-term effect, represented by a consistent apparition at the top of the charts (the evergreen titles, like Brain Training, Monster Hunter Freedom 2, Mario Kart Wii etc.).

- 'Gears of War 2' won't be a System-Seller. First it's a sequel of a game already released on the very same platform. Second, if after 'Call of Duty 4', 'Halo 3', 'Gears of War 1', 'Unreal Tournament 3', 'The Orange Box' etc. there are still people interested in those kind of FPSs that don't own a 360, then there's really a problem somewhere.

- I would make the same (second) comment about 'Resident Evil 5'.

- What is said about the 360 applies to the PS3 too. I don't see the 'Killzone 2', 'Resistance 2' and whatever FPS coming to the PS3 having a significant impact on hardware, at this stage of the life of the console.

- Sorry to say that, but 'God of War' is a mid-profile franchise at best. It has had, has and will have no impact on hardware.

Of course, all those titles will probably sell very well, regardless of whether they move hardware or not.
