The voice of reason here. I said it in the rumor thread that I expected that statement to be clarified. I also think this title is still going to miss its launch window for this year. I really think the overabundance of titles this holiday season is going to convince Electronic Arts to delay this title into next year. Which would probably be better for the titles sales.

Mirrors Edge is a novel concept, and has a lot of potential. However its easier to sell consumers on what the know, and what has been hyped all to hell then an unknown commodity. I really want to know if anyone in this thread has this title in their top five must have games through the end of the year. I sure as hell do not.

I have Fable 2, Fallout 3, The Last Remnant, Left 4 Dead, and Dead Space ahead of Mirrors Edge.

Fable 2
Fallout 3
Gears 2
Mirror's Edge
Project Origin
The Last Remnant

I've preordered Tales of Vesperia.

These were my must buy games. I guess I'm one of the few who has really high expectations for this game.

Here's a link to the thread where I made my list before this thread was created.

If it sucks, which it could, I'll be shocked.

While you're in that thread, check out the Sony and Microsoft fanboys who only put games that are exclusive to their console on their lists. Of particular interest are those who refuse to consider the notion of buying a game that might also be on the Xbox 360(or PS3, but the sony fans are more dominant on that particular thread).

I guess I'm biased though. These guys might only buy 3 games a year. I can barely live off 3 games a month. Without multiplats, HD gaming would suck to all hell.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.
