Basically, there will be a Deal of the Day that's up all day long (or until they run out of supply).
Then there are several Lightning Deals which they'll unveil every couple of hours or so. These last until the next Lightning Deal starts or, again, until they sell off their entire supply.
Usually, if you know anything about games whatsoever, you can figure out what the deals will be ahead of time since they give you none-too-subtle hints. Example: For Guitar Hero: Aerosmith they use something like, "Live on the edge and dream on!"
