You should definitely get it DOOD! The game is quirky and full of goth-animeish humor. The first Disgaea was down right hilarious!
Demon servant:"Laharl? You still alive, I thought that Assassin killed you?"
Laharl:"STOP KILLING ME IN YOUR HEAD!!!"

The game will most assuredly last you a good 500 hours to master(that is not even a joke, the games are HUGE). They are full of insane attacks with outrageous damage amounts (saw a vid for D3 where the damage capped off the screen lol). It is also full of customizable teams and such. You will love it.
