scarlett definitely looks the part and she was my pick from about a year ago, but yeah, action may not be her thing. i can't think of a single role she played that was really intense. idk, to me, samus doesn't obliterate things with a daintiness about her. she DESTROYS. so the role would be pretty demanding, imo.
to the guy who said roberta murgo, i agree. she does indeed look like (zero suit) samus. but is she an actress? i couldn't find any info on her in any films.
now, i just want to throw out the idea of either erica durance from smallville...or summer glau from the terminator tv series and the sci-fi flick serenity. granted, summer may be a bit too short, but with hollywood props, i'm sure they could fix that.
out of the three, i'd go with erica. she fits the description to a T considering she makes a hobby out of weight training and kick-boxing, plus she fits the physical description pretty well:
"Erica is 5 feet 8 inches (1.73 meters) tall. Her measurements are 36C-24-35 ½. "
much like heath ledger did for the joker, we need someone fresh for this too. i'm tired of seeing the same old recycled actresses doing these roles just because they can. i'm sorry, but if i see jessica alba or uma thurman or (god forbid) angelina jolie again, i'm going to scream. they're over and done with.
