I don't even think demand will increase in 09. There are already some major 3rd party titles announced for 09. Christmas '09 Wii will see even more demand because it will be great for the kids and adults plus will have titles to satiate the tastes of the teens and young adults.
09 might see a new SKU but the first real price cut will be in 2010.
I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
