Wii's graphics don't matter at this point. Most HD games don't even fully support "HD" resolutions either.
In 2012, sales will be lower obviously, but I think it will be in the same situation the PS2 is now. The Wii's successor might be totally different, still making it a unique, cheaper, worthwhile purchase. The only thing that matters is 3rd party support. That should be around with a 65m+ userbase (assuming the Wii underperforms the next several years)
"Inferior" systems have won almost every "generation", don't forget that.
