Guys you need to pay more attention to what Reeves is saying.
Last year SONY said: "At the moment we have no plans to cut the price of PS3".
This year SONY is saying "We will NOT cut the price this year"
Can you see the difference. On one hand you have SONY quoting for the foreseeable future which can be a day - a week or a lifetime. While now SONY being very specific about no price cuts this year.
IMHO This means at this point in time SONY wants to keep PS3 at $399. However should its sales begin to slow they might cut the price near Christmas (which is unlikely since SONY projected almost no growth from last year which means they expect to sell LESS PS3's this Christmas then they did last year. (again if the current trend continues this will not be the case)
