Atari came out in 1972... there were PC games before this time... well they were university computers however you could still play games from a previous OS on the upgrades OS that is running on an upgraded PC.
But sure, Atari was first.
Granted only because of semantics those games were ports and not the original game. I hate arguing semantics so you win.
By the way I'm reffering to the early 1970's and late 1960's.
