grow a pair of balls man i played Mortal Kombat at age 4 and Resident at age 8. Fear is something you have to responsibly diminish as you get older. Go for i i got the game for my 13th bday played it the whole way through.
Edit: on second thought ask you gaurdias better listen to them then some stranger over the internet. but if your christian it may be a bit of a sensitive game.
