Seems that´s waht people want, cheap, underdevoloped videogames like wii and ds.

Judging from your games library you're a big Civilization fan and you also like building sims like Caesar, so the irony about your post is that the DS is the system outside PC/Mac where deep strategy games like Civ work best due to the double screen - at least in my opinion. I can't wait for CivRev DS to finally be released in September in Europe and I know I will enjoy it as much on my DS as I enjoyed wonderful DS versions of strategy and sim games which were originally on PC, such as Age of Empires: Age of Kings (great game, I'm currently playing it), Anno 1701, Theme Park and SimCity. Not to speak of Nintendo's strategy originals like Advance Wars or the upcoming Fire Emblem. Point&Click adventure is another genre that outside PC/Mac works best on DS (and to a lesser extent on Wii).

On topic: Impressive! I think the key to the phenomenal worldwide success of the DS is its incredibly wide library (with full support by both, eastern and western developers), which makes it the perfect system for (nearly) all different kinds of gamers - even for ex-PC gamers like myself.
