Terrible idea, mainly because I don't want to sort through all the thread applications.
- Big story gets posted on [inset big game news site here]
- People see that the story hasn't been posted, submites a new thread for approval
- A mod takes longer than 5 minutes to post the thread
- More people see the story hasn't been posted so more people submit
- A mod takes another 5 minutes
- repeat
- Mod has headache
