I would think it pretty important. How else would you know what happened when Clank left with the Zonies?

Well, that is one little thing, it is not like there is a massive amount of detail that you need to know

 

 

Plenty for me to know. Why did he leave with them? What knowledge is it that they can offer him?

Maybe if ToD wasn't my first Ratchet game I wouldn't see the big deal, but when that point of the game happened... I was like "WTF?"
