The only reason it shouldn't go multiplat is when the "porting" results in a lose instead of profit. AFAIK, FF13 is being created on PC, which is then port to PS3 and Xbox 360. We also know that it's easier to port from PC to Xbox 360. Logically, it cost them way less to have the game on Xbox 360 than PS3. Hence, less chance of a lose. So, it not only benefits the developers, it benefits you, too. Why are you resisting?

what u said is true when u look at FF alone
i'm against it because square-enix is releasing nothing special for the ps3
if the 360 RPGs get ported to the ps3 then i have no problem
PS : can we get halo or gears of war ?
