The laser charging up its shot doesn't mean he can't track her, plus if she's so focused on escape there's no risk to MC. I also think you're seriously underestimating the Spartan Laser.
I think you are all fundamentally misunderstanding what i'm trying to say. I'm not saying Samus couldn't beat MC, I fully recognize that she can kick some ass, I'm just saying that it's not automatic. The Master Chief can kick a fair amount of ass himself
@CHYUII If she uses that suit then MC can use rockets, he has them too.

WTF? one miserable rocketlauncher..wich has cooldown time of 2 hours compared to Samus..
she would explode that damn rocket with her missles...and shoot a power missle back at him..and he'd die..if she doesn't dodge..she would only lose about 20 energy..
