"I can't believe someone is still believing in the ten years plan. Who would buy PS3 when next gen comes out? " People are still buying the Ps2. It has been reported ad nauseum that the ceiling for graphics in console games is gonig to be hit. In 10 yeaqrs is there going to be a new type of Hi-def Tv? Doubtful especially since HD-TV is just now coming into its own. Yes the PS3 is hard to develop for just as the PS2 was but this is a mixed blessing because games at the end of the consoles lifespan have much improved graphics. The difference between the Xbox 720 and the PS3 won't be that big. Also why on earth is the Wii/DS winning with substandard graphics? Believe what you will but for some odd reason each playstation system has had a longer life span then the previous one. The PS2s lifespan? 9 years PS1? 7 years PS3? ____ years
