1) I think what you mean is gameplay=/= base abilities.

This is still gameplay, so it can't be used. You assume that Aghanim's lighting would do the same damage as Kratos' lightning. Heck, there are a lot of things you're assuming, basically to your own magical advantage. You're also combining what you go through in LttP and using it in an argument in a completely different universe where there ARE no hearts or heart containers. You can't convert something like that. Do you see how confusing and useless using gameplay in an argument like this is now?

Base abilities would be natural abilities btw. In which case we would acknowledge Link's use of the Master Sword and what the Master Sword's purpose is, which is the blade of evil's bane. In other words, it's really only useful against Ganon and evil creatures, which Kratos is not.

Kratos on the other hand, is extremely agile and strong. His threshold of pain outweighs Links tenfold easily. He's been to hell for crying out loud and came back. Link really isn't that agile at all, he's not naturally strong and relies on his items for everything. And that's where the roadblock comes in because of the different time splits in Zelda and the fact that we don't know how Link would use one item with another. You have to consider two variables: 1) How Link would use the items. 2) What effect it would have on Kratos. You can't make any of Link's strategies work without knowing both of these. And that's another roadblock, because they're from two different universes.

I agree with everything on how you can't compare them because they are from two different universes. I don't agree though that Kratos isn't evil.
