The wii version of madden has increased by a higher percentage than the ps3 version, naturally though as the years go on it will get more front loaded (relatively) because the percentage of new owners to existing owners changes. That's why you can't just say that because 08 had 70k first week and 09 has 140k that 09 will end up at 1.6 million. I'm expecting 1.1-1.3 million for both the wii and ps3 version. It's gonna be close. |
I recognize that percentage change, and that's why i didn't base my prediction on attach rates. My initial prediction was really admittedly just a guesstimate actually, but looking at the legs of each title relative to its initial front end, it looking like it should be a pretty solid guess based on trends alone.
