Twilight Princess - Link can teleport at will
A Link to the Past - Link can travel to an alternate reality
Windwaker - Link can teleport at will when on the water
Link would never get involved in a fight unless he was going to win - and if the fight did start going Kratos's way, he would teleport to safety.
It's like the Pirates vs Ninjas debate, there are some situations where the pirates would win, but the Ninjas aren't going to get drawn into those types of fights.
