Is anyone else noticing that the arguments for Link go into detail on weapons, items, the way they can be used, point out that Link has also beaten Gods and ways in which he can become invulnerable, as well as tactics that can be used to counter Kratos attacks and tactics.

What Gods?  Who has Link beaten that was a God?  Ganondorf is not a God by any means.  Also, it's easy to go into detail about Links weapons because you can use them in several different ways in Loz.  That doesn't tell us how it would effect Kratos though.  How can you?  This goes back to gameplay, in which we hit a road block again because you can't determine how things would happen.  You can't prove that Link would be able to even bring Kratos close to him with a hookshot. Kratos doesn't follow the rules of the Loz games because he's not a part of them.

Arguments supporting Kratos constantly go "Kratos would kill Link"(no other supporting points made) or "Kratos killed a god/is immortal" and "Kratos led an army, which somehow is proof he's not dumb, and not easily tricked, as one would be led to believe by how he was apparently tricked into killing his own family"

That kind of argument is about as far as you CAN go in these discussions.

When I first got into this, I thought it would make a really cool debate, but the only place I see any real thought taking place is on Link's side. So this is kinda getting boring now.
Is there maybe someone who can actually offer a compelling argument about how Kratos would take on Link, defend against Link's attacks, successfully deal with his defenses, and then actually manage to attack successfully? I mean, with that it would at least make it look like Kratos stands a chance, but with arguments as they are now, I'm actually MORE convinced that Kratos would get his butt kicked.

You're convinced because you're only reading what you want to read.

Majora is a god(demon), the Giants area also semi gods comparable to the Gods in GoW. Also while Ganon isn't a god himself he does have the triforce of power, which is the essence of a god.

demons =/= gods. Giants =/= Gods. Ganon =/= Gods.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_characters_in_The_Legend_of_Zelda:_Majora%27s_Mask#The_Four_Giants

The Four Giants are beings worshiped by the Terminans as gods and guardians of their world. When they assumed the responsibility of guardian deities, their friend the Skull Kid felt that they had wronged him, and he used the power of Majora's Mask to seal them into the four masked beasts. These four gods of Termina are worshiped at the Carnival of Time with a song sang at the top of the Clock Tower, in hopes of a good harvest in the year to come. They may be compared with the Four Heavenly Kings of the real-world Buddhist faith, which are also associated with the four cardinal directions. Once they are freed, the Four Giants are shown as enormous wood-like heads with greenish beards and long, skinny limbs. The Four Giants are also a trophy in Super Smash Bros. Melee, and appear in the background of the "Great Bay" stage of the same game, catching the falling moon, and tossing it up into the sky again.

Also the Triforce of Power grants Ganon god like powers. Also gods are suppose to be omnipotent beings. By definition none of these are gods, including Kratos and Zeus. Because if Zeus was omnipotent he would know everything that has or will happen, and would have predicted what Kratos would do. Same thing for Kratos. So by defintion none of these are gods. But some consider anything that is worshipped as being a god meaning Majora, and the Giants qualify as gods.

Big contradiction here.  Ganon couldn't predict Link would beat him, and yet you still think he has God-like powers?

Zeus was worshipped as well. Heck, all of the Greek Gods were.
