flicking through the Wikipedia article it looks like it could be interesting.

 

As far as I'm concerned, Vagrant Story was the best Action RPG that SE ever came out with.

The combat system was simply amazing and one-of-a-kind when it came out. Even the intro movie that suddenly throws you into the thick of battle while teaching you the nuances of combat was unique back then.

Nowadays there are games (not necessarily in the RPG genre) that have borrowed these gameplay elements.

Get it if you can - you won't regret it.
