The Wii is supply constrained. The clearest evidence would be the grey market: the Wii is still selling well above retail.
Secondly, when the Wii does drop in demand -- which will obviously happen at some point, even if it's 5 years from now -- it will do so gradually. It won't suddenly go from selling 150k+ a week to 70k in the span of a couple weeks.
