Disaster: Day of Crisis 'still in development' says Nintendo
It's not a complete disaster: Wii owners still waiting for mature-themed games from Nintendo proper can keep hope alive.
Disaster still in the works
"Disaster: Day of Crisis is still in development," a Nintendo of America representative told GamePro on Monday. Unfortunately, the representative would not comment on a tentative release date or when Nintendo might divulge further information.
The verbal confirmation is the second in as many years from Nintendo, who in 2007 also said the game was still being developed, though subsequent updates have been virtually non-existent.
Last week, Disaster received a mature rating from the Australian Classification Board, one of only two game updates this year. In May, developer Monolith Soft said the game had been postponed indefinitely to "increase the quality of the finished product."
After more than two years with few official updates, many gamers expected Disaster to go the way of Project Hammer, another game unveiled at E3 2006 to be published by Nintendo that was eventually shelved. Unlike Disaster, Hammer was playable at E3 2006.
Disaster: Day of Crisis is a survival game where players must escape various natural disasters in an effort to (you guessed it) stay alive. That's about all we know.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
